“Kuba rides with Chicago-area local Joe Battaglia, who also loves a good box jump. Like Kuba, Joe has a technical side, but neither are afraid to go big. Seeing them ride together is a pretty interesting situation, considering that both barely speak English half the time. Joe is a native but has adopted an “English-Gully-Battaglia” hybrid, creating his own vernacular. Kuba’s first language is Polish, and while he speaks English well, his use of Battaglia’s Gully-fied language and translation can be entertaining.”- Aaron Nardi, ESPN
