Colony – Cooper Brownlee 2013

Cooper Brownlee 2013 from Colony BMX on Vimeo.

Cooper Brownlee spends most of his time behind the lens, but each year he surprises with a few edits he managed to film between the busy schedule and this new piece for Colony is one of them. So much amazing grind combos and lines all pulled with ease around Australia and on his trip to the USA. Must watch everyone.

Colony – Luke Parker 2013 Edit

Luke Parker 2013 from Colony BMX on Vimeo.

Luke Parker has been really busy over the past six months stacking clips around Melbourne, Australia with help from Cooper Brownlee behind the lens and since he was recently added to the Colony team, it was just the right thing to do, to drop the edit in the name of the brand to say thanks. Almost four minutes of bangers and banger only. First half is street oriented and second is all about skatepark riding. This kid is incredibly good and has so much skills on the bike it gets ridiculous from clip to clip.

Mike Brennan On Colony

After parting ways with Wethepeople a few months ago, Mike Brennan has been without frame sponsor and look at the news today, he joined the Australian based company, Colony.
“We are stoked to announce the one of New Jersey’s finest, Mike Brennan is now riding for Colony. I’ve known Mike for a little while now and everytime we could talk I could tell more and more that he was one the same page as us and things just fell into place from there. Next minute we are sending some products and the rest is history. I look forward to hanging out with Mike some more and collecting footage for future Colony project because we all know he goes hard!”– Cooper Brownlee
“A few months back Cooper had told me that Mike had expressed interest and good words about what we have going on at Colony. I was stoked to hear this for sure. It wasn’t until a few months later that we had the chance to meet up at Interbike and right away from that first meeting, I knew this was going to happen. Mike is a down to earth guy with the right out look on BMX and life in general. I am stoked to have him a part of the family and I look forward to the years ahead.”– Clint Millar

Colony – Tom Stretton 2013 Edit

I think everyone knows Tobias Wicke and his technical insanity at skateparks, well, here we have Tom Stretton, who is something similar, maybe even more crazier and everything he does, he does brakeless. His new Colony web edit is some kind of a mix of flatland/street/skatepark riding with so much original and creative lines, you don’t see on a daily basis (not even if you put all the daily edits together). This is hot, very very hot. I don’t know what is my favorite trick in here, because there are so many, but the long pedal hang 5 toothpick grind at the beginning was ridiculous. Filmed and edited by Cooper Brownlee (additional filming by Tristan Montagu and Troy Charlesworth).

Into The City – Mixtape #1

I was really looking forward to these new web series from Focalpoint and Cooper Brownlee, that are entirely filmed in Melbourne, Australia, titled “Into The City.” The first mixtape has just dropped and it is incredible. Really well filmed and edited with a big amount of crazy good street moves from riders like Marnold, Cooper Brownlee, Jack Kelly, Daniel Johnson, Lachy Swanton, Luke Parker and others. I highly suggest you to hit play and check this one out.
When you are done with watching, there is a great photo gallery up on Focalpoint from filming this piece, worth taking a peek.

Colony – Mick Bayzand 2013 Edit

Mick Bayzand has been working on this piece for about two years now and what came out now is something that will blow you away, I am sure. Really solid street riding from around Australia and Canada is what makes Colony (and the rest of the world) super stoked. Filmed and edited by Cooper Brownlee with help from Sam Lowe, Kym Grosser, Rhys Yeomans, Daniel Johnson and Jack Kelly.
Was that they rail that Kym Grosser also pulled for his Blazeguard section at 2:06?
Seen on TCU.

Colony – Bobbie Altiser 10 Clips

Bobbie Altiser and Dylan Crane teamed up to get ten clips filmed at the Hannibal, Missouri skatepark for Colony’s latest “10 Clips” web edit. Bobbie is not your everyday rider, he rides with front brake, with rear brake and he uses his freecoaster a lot. What this means is that you will witness tricks and lines you usually don’t see in an average edit. Edited by Cooper Brownlee.
